One-click international money transfer
KKbits is an independent remittance service in more than 30 countries across Africa.
It is an international money transfer service with a fast, seamless process and the best exchange rate in the market.
What were the issues faced?
The major issue faced within the market was the dearth of low exchange rate platforms in Australia.
People transferring money from Australia to other countries had to pay way more extra than the amount itself because of the added bank charges.
There was no platform to support money transfers for immigrants or people without holding Australian citizenship.
How did we help?
Through extensive research, strategy, designing, and prototyping, we partnered with KKbits to improve the current money transfer management system. We built an app to simplify the money transfer experience for everyone.
A simple, useful, and highly functional solution.
The step-by-step user flows and familiarity with the design helped users feel safe and secure while their transactions were made.
How did we simplify the process?
Users can choose the currency, with exchange rates displayed on the website. Followed by selecting ‘transfer type’ (bank, POLI, Mobile Money), filling in the required information and amount.
Once they add the purpose of transfer, the user is required to choose between the different payment portals.
Guided onboarding
Offering a seamless experience to the users is of absolute importance to us. To get to the heart of it, we recorded responses from people around us that helped us simplify the problems they face while registering on any platform.
Once done, we made sure that KKbits offered one seamless sign up to every user.
Verification made easy
The user gets verified in a highly simplified way. We made sure that the user is going through a streamlined series of steps.
Transfer money

KKbits brought a smooth one-click international money transfer solution for everyone.
For instance, If they opted for a bank transfer - they need to add a beneficiary and upload the receipt generated through the bank on KKbits.
Transactions history and track transfer
The user can keep a constant check on the status while the money is being transferred. Once the money transfer is complete, KKbits will verify it for the user and upload the final receipt.
The whole process is real-time and therefore it’s fast as compared to other platforms available.

We designed and developed a simplified admin panel where they can:
