“I am taking it to the grave”, tweeted The Hustle’s CEO Sam Parr

HubSpot, a sales and marketing software company, announced the acquisition of the platform, The Hustle, an email newsletter and content company for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The deal is anticipated to close next week.

“Early in my career I was transparent with money. But I didn’t like the result of sharing that stuff. So we’re not disclosing the price and HubSpot has agreed. I’m taking it to the grave!”

, tweeted The Hustle’s CEO Sam Parr.

Hubspot has invested themselves in content to help educate its existing and potential customers about business trends, largely through web blogs.

The Hustle's daily business newsletter has around 1.5 million subscribers.

The deal will give a big boost on that effort. It would help HubSpot generate leads to get more customers without having to pay for lots of ads on Google and Facebook.

“The goal is to build the largest business content network in the world. Soon, we’ll expand to a variety of mediums on a bunch of different topics and will have really innovative products coming out. We’re also going to hire the best content creators in the world.” Sam tweeted.
