We have looked at a few SEO concepts in which link value or link authority is major concern. Today I want to talk about understanding the “trust and authority” of link.
Usually we have seen, if 2 or more teams struggle for a common project, in that case that team which gets more votes will score more than the other. But, on the web, we can’t always count on people to make honest recommendations. “More votes don’t mean we win”. Nowadays, people forcefully buy votes and Search Engines need to sort through the votes to decide which ones are genuine and the ones which should not be considered.
Now, Search Engine have become smarter, robots check if the site is linking to trusted sources . Robots check if the sites pointing to them come from trusted sources? For example if you have movie site then it must link to sites like fanpop, google, dmoz, zimbio and many other high PR authority sites.
Robots throw out all duplicate content and give more weight-age to unique, relevant and fresh content. It is very essential to get quality links from trusted sources because search engine checks all those sources before assigning a Rank. More the link will be trusted, the more value it has in the eyes of search engines.
So, the more you link your domain to trusted authority sites the more value you will get in eyes of Search Engines.
It is very important to build SEO friendly web sites to stay ahead than your competition. It is recommended to hire some good, trusted SEO agency which only works on quality, relevant as well as trusted sites.
